Pedestrian Dies on Washburn Avenue

On May 19, at approximately 3:22 a.m., Southern District patrol officers responded to the 400 block of Washburn Avenue, for a report of a pedestrian-involved crash.

Once there, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 54-year-old victim suffering from serious injuries.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he later died.

Investigators learned that the victim was attempting to cross the 400 block of Washburn Avenue when he was struck by a Honda.

The driver of the vehicle did remain at the scene.

Crash Team detectives are investigating.
