On May 12, at approximately 4:45 a.m., Southeast District patrol officers responded to the 3600 block of Leverton Avenue for a reported shooting investigation.
Once they arrived, Baltimore Police Department officers located a 42-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower back and leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital, and listed in stable condition.
Southeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southeast District Shooting detectives at 410-396-2433.

Update: The victim, Moses McKnight, later died from his injuries at an area hospital that day.
