On April 8, Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa K. Copeland set a trial date for 22-year-old Jason Johnson.
Johnson is charged with first-degree murder, firearm possession with a felony conviction, attempted first-degree murder, reckless endangerment, affray [fighting in public] and two charges of firearm use in a violent felony crime in relation to an incident on June 6, 2023.
Judge Copeland set the trial date for Aug. 13. The trial is expected to last five days. Johnson will appear with his attorney Brandon Patterson in front of Judge Althea M. Handy.
