On April 2, attempted murder defendant Dariel Doncha’e Glenn received a July trial date from Baltimore City Circuit Court  Judge Melissa K. Copeland.

Glenn, 26, is currently charged with attempted first- and- second degree murder, first-degree assault, firearm use in a felony violent crime, firearm possession with a felony conviction, having a handgun on his person, firing and discharging a weapon, illegal possession of ammunition and reckless endangerment in connection to an Aug. 27, 2023 incident.

Glenn’s attorney, Natalie Finegar, requested a postponement of the trial. The prosecution wanted a September trial date, but Judge Copeland was uncomfortable scheduling a trial that far out.

Judge Copeland scheduled Glenn as a back-up trial starting on July 15 before Judge Videtta A. Brown.
