On March 19, Baltimore Police Department detectives served an arrest warrant for attempted first-degree murder on 32-year-old Shairora Whitaker of Baltimore.
Detectives believe that Whitaker shot a 48-year-old female victim while on the 800 block of Bethune Road on March 3.
Detectives transported Whitaker to the Central Booking Intake Facility.
On March 3, at approximately 4:38 a.m., Southern District officers were dispatched to an area hospital for a report of a shooting victim.
Officers responded to the hospital and observed a 48-year-old female being treated by medical personnel, suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
The victim informed officers that she was shot while on the 800 block of Bethune Road.
