On Jan. 21, at approximately 4:02 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were dispatched to the 3500 block of Reisterstown Road to investigate an injured pedestrian in the roadway.
Officer rendered aid to the female victim and she was transported to an area hospital, where medical personnel pronounced her deceased.
CRASH Team investigators responded to the location and assumed control over the investigation.
Investigators identified the victim as 64-year-old Wilma Barnes and believe Ms. Barnes was struck by a unidentified black vehicle, which fled the scene.
