On Dec. 19, Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled a murder trial for a 19-year-old Baltimore County man.
Kharod O’Neill of Owings Mills, Md. is charged with first-degree murder, firearm use in a felony violent crime, having a loaded handgun in his vehicle and on his person in connection to a July 3 incident.
The prosecution did not have an approved plea offer to extend to O’Neill. Janine Meckler stood in for O’Neill’s attorney, James Sweeting III, at this hearing.
Judge Phinn scheduled O’Neill’s four-day trial to begin on June 3, 2024, before Judge Jeffrey M. Geller.
