Gold Street Victim’s Death Caused by Strangulation

On Dec. 1, at approximately 9:35 a.m., Baltimore Police Department officers were advised of an unconscious male lying face down in the rear alley of the 500 block of Gold Street. 

When officers arrived, they observed a male victim with no shoes or coat, and his identification was found next to his body. The victim was bleeding from his head. Medics arrived on the scene to assess the injuries and pronounced the victim deceased around 9:42 a.m. 

The deceased was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. On Dec. 2, the medical examiner ruled the cause of death as homicide by strangulation.
