Teen Dies After N. Gilmor Street Shooting

On Sept. 25, at approximately 4:25 p.m., Baltimore Police Department officers responded to the intersection of Laurens Street and North Gilmor Street to investigate a call for a shooting. 

Upon arrival, officers observed a 15-year-old Rashid Maxwell suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds in the rear of the 1300 block of North Gilmor Street. Medics transported the male to an area hospital where, despite life-saving measures, he was pronounced deceased. 

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
