Detectives Launch Investigation Following Non-Fatal Shooting in Western District

On Sept. 8, at approximately 7:20 p.m., officers responded to the intersection of North Pulaski Street and Presstman Street to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers canvassed the area and located a 14-year-old female suffering suffering from a gunshot wound. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where she is currently listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 2100 block of Presstman Street.

Western District detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation.
