Western District Homicide Investigation Launched Following Double Shooting on West North Avenue

In Aug. 24, at approximately 1:05 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2200 block of West North Avenue in reference to a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, officers located 26-year-old Darius Alante Hill and Myron Anthony White, both suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

Medics transported the victims to area hospitals where the unidentified male victim later died. The 26-year-old male victim was listed in critical condition.

On Aug. 28, the BPD announced the names of the two victims and that they had both died from their injuries.
