Hospital Tells Woman She Was Shot After She Thinks She Was Hit With a Bat

On Aug. 20, at approximately 2:18 a.m., a 26-year-old female was in the area of the 4800 block of Beaufort Avenue when she believed she was struck in the head with a baseball bat.

Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. Following tests by medical personnel, it was determined the victim had been shot.

Northern District detectives with the Baltimore Police Department are investigating. Anyone with any information is urged to contact them at 410-396-2455.
