Walk-In Shooting Victim Reported in Southwest District

On Aug. 11, at approximately 7:47 a.m., Southwest District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department responded to an area hospital for a walk-in victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 26-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the body. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 1600 block of Cole Street.

Southwest District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control of the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southwest District shooting detectives at 410-396-2488.
