Southern District Officers Respond to Call of Walk-In Shooting Hospital Victim

On Aug. 4, at approximately 2:37 p.m., officers were patrolling in the area of the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road area when they received a call for a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 28-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest. The victim’s condition is stable.

Southern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred on the 600 block of Cherry Hill Road.
