Officers Launch Non-Fatal Shooting Investigation in Eastern District

On Aug. 6, at approximately 2:05 a.m., officers responded to the 3100 block of Chesterfield Avenue to investigate a call for a discharging.

Upon arrival, officers located a 37-year-old male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his hand. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injury.

Eastern District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department responded and assumed control over this investigation.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident had occurred on the 3800 block of Kavon Avenue.
