On July 20, at approximately 6:39 p.m., officers responded to the 5000 block of East Preston Street to investigate a call for a shooting.
Upon arrival, officers observed an unidentified male suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his shoulder. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital where he’s receiving treatment for his injury.
Eastern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
