Officers Open Investigation into Shooting of 17-Year-Old on Eastern Avenue

On July 9, at approximately 1:41 a.m., officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a report of a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 17-year-old male suffering from numerous non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot on the 6600 block of Eastern Avenue.

Southeast District shooting detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded and assumed control over this investigation.
