Officers Report Walk-In Non-Fatal Shooting Victim in Northern District

On June 15, at approximately 2:17 a.m., Northern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 3400 block of Old York Road to investigate discharging.

Once at the location, officers did an area canvas and found evidence of discharging of a firearm.

Sometime later, officers were called to an area hospital for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment for a gunshot wound to the right shoulder. Officers responded to the hospital and located a 29-year-old male victim being treated for a non-life-threatening injury.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the 3400 block of Old York Road when two unidentified male suspects approached and shot the victim. The victim transported himself to the hospital.
