Detectives Looking into Shooting of 27-Year-Old Male in Southern District

On June 11, at approximately 5:53 p.m., Central District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to an area hospital for a gunshot victim seeking treatment.

Once at the hospital, officers located a 27-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left forearm. The victim is listed in stable condition. 

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the area of Westport Avenue and Annapolis Road when he felt pain and realized he had been shot. The victim then transported himself to the hospital.

Southern District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Southern District shooting detectives at 410-396-2499.
