Officers Respond to Shooting of 19-Year-Old in Central District

On June 4, at approximately 8:39 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 500 block of Orchard Street to investigate a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 19-year-old male suffering from numerous life-threatening gunshot wounds. Medics transported the victim to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma, where he was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
