Southern District Officers Seek Answers in East Cross Street Non-Fatal Shooting Case

On June 3, at approximately 1:47 a.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) were patrolling at the intersection of East Cross Street and Light Street when they heard discharging.

Officers located a 26-year-old male at the intersection of Patapsco Street and East Cross Street, suffering from a gunshot wound to his lower back. Medics transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the unit block of East Cross Street.  

Southern District Shooting detectives responded and assumed control over this investigation.
