Officers Seek Answers in Northeast District Shooting Cases

On May 10, at approximately 4:17 p.m., Northeast District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 5400 block of Moores Run Drive to investigate a report of a discharging.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 59-year-old Clifton Leroy Phair suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest and upper right leg. Phair was transported by medics to an area hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.

A short time later, Baltimore County officers responded to an area hospital to investigate a walk-in shooting victim.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 40-year-old male suffering from a gunshot wound to his left foot. The victim found transportation to an area hospital where he is being treated for his injury. The victim is in stable condition.

Further investigation revealed that the victim was shot in the 5400 block of Moores Run Drive, located in Northeast Baltimore.
