Police Investigate Homicide in Western District

Officers from the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred on the 1600 block of Ruxton Avenue on May 15.

According to a press release, officers located two victims, a 29-year-old male and a 28-year-old female suffering from several stab wounds at the listed location.

The male victim, 29-year-old Devoon Johnson, succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital, while the female victim is “expected to survive,” according to the release.

A preliminary investigation revealed that the stabbings resulted from a physical altercation the male victim had with an unidentified male suspect.
