Central District Detectives Launch Investigation into South Greene Street Shooting

On April 23, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Central District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the unit block of South Greene Street for a reported walk-in shooting.

Once at the hospital, officers observed a 15-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the groin. The victim is listed in stable condition.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was in the area of Baltimore and Gilmor when a concerned citizen saw the victim injured and transported him to a nearby hospital.

Central District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.
