Officers Launch Homicide Investigation into West Lexington Street Shooting

On April 13, at approximately 1:15 a.m., Western District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2000 block of West Lexington Street for a ShotSpotter alert.

Once there, officers located a 30-year-old Allante Alexander suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died.
