Southern District Officers Launch Investigation into West Patapsco Avenue Shooting

On April 11, at approximately 8:23 p.m., officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2200 block of West Patapsco Avenue for discharging.

Upon arrival, officers located evidence of a shooting, but found no victim(s).

A short time later, officers were called to an area hospital where a shooting victim walked in seeking treatment.  

Upon arrival to the hospital, officers located a 31-year-old male who was suffering from gunshot wounds to his lower back. The victim is in serious but stable condition.

Southern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident.
