Western District Detectives Investigating North Monroe Street Homicide

On April 11, at approximately 3:35 p.m., Western District officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1800 block of West Lexington Street for a ShotSpotter alert.

Upon arrival, officers observed 21-year-old Roman Faison Jr., suffering from gunshot wounds to his chest, legs, and head. The victim was transported by medics to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased.

Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident occurred in the 100 block of North Monroe Street.  

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
