Triple Shooting in Eastern District Leaves One Dead

On April 11, at approximately 1:14 p.m., Eastern District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2700 block of Ashland Avenue to investigate a ShotSpotter alert.

Once at the location, officers located 42-year-old Jawann Adams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the body. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

A short time later, a 52-years-old male victim and a 20-year old male victim walked into a nearby hospital seeking treatment for a gunshot wound. The injuries sustained by these victims are non-life-threatening.
