Southeast District Detectives Launch Investigation into Malvern Avenue Shooting

On April 7, at approximately 9:47 p.m., Southeast District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 6600 block of Marne Avenue for a report of a shooting.

Once there, officers located a 36-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the lower body.

The victim was transported to an area hospital where he is expected to survive.

Investigators learned that the victim was shot while in the 1600 block of Malvern Avenue. The victim then drove to the 6600 block of Marne Avenue where medics and police were notified.
