Northern District Detectives Launch Investigation into Callender Street Shooting

On April 1, at approximately 3:37 p.m., Northern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 2100 block of Maryland Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Upon arrival, officers observed a 25-year-old male and a 38-year-old male suffering from gunshot wounds.

Both victims have been transported by medics to an area hospital for treatment of their injuries. The victim’s conditions are unknown at this time.

Further investigation revealed that the shooting occurred on 500 block of Callender Street.

Northern District shooting detectives responded and assumed control of the investigation.
