On March 26, at approximately 10:11 p.m., Central District patrol officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the unit block of South Greene Street for a walk-in shooting victim seeking treatment.
Upon arriving at the hospital, officers met a 30-year-old male victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the left ankle. The victim was being treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Preliminary investigators revealed that the victim was walking in the 2400 block of Homewood Avenue when he was approached by a suspect who began shooting at him. The victim ran and noticed he was shot in his ankle. The victim then transported himself to an area hospital.
