Southern Officers Report Shooting Homicide on Eagle Street

On March 27, at approximately 8:56 p.m., Southern District officers with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to 1800 block of Eagle Street for a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, officers entered a dwelling and located 29-year-old Nathan Smyth suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

Medics responded to the location and transported the victim to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced deceased by medical personnel.

Homicide detectives responded and assumed control over the investigation.
