Central District Detectives Launch Investigation into Pennsylvania Avenue Double Shooting

On March 12, at approximately 4:28 p.m., Central District patrol officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) responded to the 1100 block of Pennsylvania Avenue to investigate a reported shooting.

Officers arrived at the scene and discovered a 24-year-old female victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital in serious condition. 

A second 32-year-old male victim, later identified as Juan Hill, was located suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital. Despite medical efforts, the victim was pronounced deceased by medical staff.

Central District shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact Central District shooting detectives at 410-396-2411.
