Southwest District Officers Arrest Juvenile and Charge with Murder in Quintuplet Shooting

On Feb. 15, detectives with the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) arrested a 16-year-old male suspect in connection with a quintuplet shooting that occurred on Jan. 4.

Homicide detectives assumed control of the investigation and learned that the suspect shot into a group of students, killing 16-year-old Deanta Dorsey, and wounding two 17-year-old males and two 18-year-old males on the 4400 block of Edmondson Avenue.

The suspect is currently being held at Central Booking Intake Facility and was charged with first-degree murder.
