Police Ask for Help Identifying Suspect in Dollar Store Dispute Turned Homicide

The Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are seeking help to identify a suspect in the murder of 25-year-old Clarence Adkins IV.

On Dec. 29, 2022, at approximately 1:54 p.m., Adkins pulled up to The Dollar Plus Store located at 2004 W. Pratt Street, parked his vehicle, and entered the store. Once in the store, Clarence Adkins made a purchase and began to argue with two unknown males.

The argument continued outside of the store when one of the males, pictured below, produced a handgun and proceeded to shoot Adkins multiple times. Adkins was transported to the University of Maryland Medical Center Shock Trauma Center where he died a short time later.

BPD Homicide detectives are looking to identify this shooter.
