Homicide detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have assumed control over the investigation of a homicide which occurred during the night of Jan. 28.
On Saturday, at approximately 10:25 p.m., Northern District officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Kimberleigh Road to investigate a reported shooting.
Officers responded to the location and observed 42-year-old Marcus Aslup suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to Johns Hopkins Hospital and pronounced deceased by medical personnel, a short time later.
