Central District detectives for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are investigating this incident and believe this incident occurred in the Southwest District.
On Jan. 24, 2023, at approximately 7:16 p.m., officers responded to an area hospital where two shooting victims walked in seeking treatment.
Upon arrival, officers located two adult males who were suffering from non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to their lower extremities.
It was later determined by investigators that one of the victims was a 25-year-old male who suffered from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his right leg.
Detectives learned the victim accidentally shot himself in the 3300 block of Clifton Avenue.
Detectives have obtained information that corroborates the victim’s story.
