Homicide Detectives Launch Investigation in Western District

Homicide investigators for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) have assumed control over the investigation of a murder that occurred on Jan. 18.

On Wednesday, at approximately 5:43 p.m., Western District officers were dispatched to the 1700 block of West Lexington Street to investigate a reported shooting.

When officers arrived at the location, they observed a 30-year-old Cameron Bullock suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center by ambulance and pronounced dead by medical personnel a short time later.
