Non-Fatal Shooting Reported in Northeast District

Officers for the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) are looking into a shooting that occurred in the early hours of Jan. 2.

On Monday, at approximately 1:20 a.m., Northeast District patrol officers responded to the 6500 block of Belair Road for a reported shooting.

Once there, officers located a 46-year-old male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the back and neck. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Northeast District Shooting detectives responded to the scene and assumed control over the investigation. Anyone with information is urged to contact detectives at 410-396-2444.
