Eastern District homicide detectives have launched an investigation into the fatal shooting of a 28-year-old man on Dec. 23.
On Friday, at approximately 11:52 a.m., patrol officers responded to the 1600 block of East Eager Street to investigate a reported shooting.
Once at the location, officers located 28-year-old Michael G. Morrison suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on scene.
