A Baltimore City Circuit Court judge issued a trial date on Dec. 14 for a man charged in a fatal 2020 shooting on the 5600 block of Haddon Avenue.
Shae-von Edward is charged with first-degree murder, attempted first-degree murder, use of a firearm in a felony violent crime, having a handgun in a vehicle on a public road, having a handgun on his person in connection with a crime perpetrated on June 2, 2020.
According to the Baltimore Police Department, Edward allegedly shot 51-year-old Roderick Daniels and an unidentified 35-year-old man. Daniels later died of his injuries at Sinai Hospital.
Judge Melissa M. Phinn scheduled for trial to begin Feb. 21, 2023, before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Lynn Stewart Mays.
Edward is represented by defense attorney Creston Smith.
