“Mr. Collins continues to do so very well,” reported Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale. E. Raisin on Dec. 7 during a mental health court for a Baltimore man convicted of manslaughter 2013.
Defendant Genesis Collins was released in 2019 and is currently serving a five-year probation term.
During the hearing on Wednesday, the probation agent assigned to Collins, 52, said as far as he knew, the defendant was, “doing everything [Collins] was supposed to be doing.”
Judge Rasin said the defendant was doing so well that there was no need to reconvene before Feb. 1, 2023.
Collins made sure to thank the court for all their help and wished them all a happy holiday.
