On Dec. 2, a Baltimore man charged with discharging firearms had his reception court hearing postponed pending the results of a competency evaluation before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn.
Marlon Veney is charged with possessing a rifle or shotgun with a felony conviction, unlawful use of a livestock motor vehicle, reckless endangerment, discharging firearms, illegal possession of ammo, and two counts of a traffic violation for an incident on Jan. 15.
Veney’s case will be reviewed in mental health court on Dec. 28 before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Gale Rasin.
Veney, 29, is represented by defense attorney Karyn Meriwether.
