The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the evening of Dec. 1.
According to a news release, officers were called to the 4400 block of Park Heights Avenue at 7:47 p.m. for reports of a shooting, where 28-year-old Kierra Cox was found suffering from a gunshot to her chest.
The victim was transported to Sinai Hospital, where she was pronounced deceased a short time later.
Homicide detectives responded out and are investigating this murder.
