The Eastern District of the Baltimore Police Department (BPD) is investigating a double shooting which occurred on Nov. 26.
On Saturday, at approximately 6:20 p.m., officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert in the 2000 block of E. North Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers found a 17-year-old male who was suffering from a gunshot wound to his thigh. The responding officer provided potential life-saving medical treatment prior to medics’ arrival. Medics transported the victim to a local hospital where the victim is currently in critical condition.
A second victim, a 41-year-old female, was located on the 1800 block of N. Chester Street. She was suffering from a non-life threatening graze wound to her shoulder and is being treat at a local hospital.
Eastern District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2433.
