Police Investigating Shooting of 16-Year-Old On Old York Road

Northern District officers of the Baltimore Police Department are asking for answers in the shooting of a teen on Oct. 30.

On Sunday, at approximately 6:02 p.m., officers responded to the 4000 block of Old York Road for a report of a shooting.

Once they arrived, officers observed 16-year-old Daryll Byrd suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the head.

Medics responded and transported the victim to an area hospital.

Detectives are ask anyone with information to call 410-396-2455.
