On Oct. 11, a 33-year-old Baltimore man pleaded guilty to having a handgun on his person stemming from an incident that occurred on April 16, 2020.
The defendant was charged with four counts of first-degree assault, eight counts of reckless endangerment, use of a firearm during a violent crime, having a handgun on his person, fourteen counts of fourth-degree burglary, malicious destruction of property value greater than $1,000, twelve counts of malicious destruction of property value less than $1,000, four counts of discharge gun in Baltimore City, second-degree assault, and possession not marijuana.
The prosecutor presented a plea of three years for having a handgun on his person.
The defendant and his defense attorney George Harris accepted the plea.
During the defendant’s last court appearance in April, the prosecution dropped the majority of the most serious charges.
The defendant was sentenced to the maximum sentence of 3 years before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa Phinn.
