Shooting on W. North Avenue Late Wednesday Evening

The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a non-fatal shooting in the evening of Sept. 14. 

According to a news release, officers were called to the 3000 block of W. North Avenue around 9:21 p.m. for a shooting, where a 23-year-old man was found suffering from a gunshot to his chest. 

The victim was transported to an area hospital by medics, where he is currently in serious condition.

Southwest District shooting detectives are investigating this incident and are asking anyone with information to call 410-396-2488.
