A young Baltimore teen charged with first-degree murder had his hearing postponed on Sept. 12 for two weeks later before Baltimore City Circuit Court Judge Melissa M. Phinn

Costello Simms, 14, is charged with two counts of first-degree murder, use of a firearm during a felony violent crime, having a handgun on his person, having a handgun in a vehicle, and possession of a firearm as a minor in connection to an incident on Feb. 5.

The prosecutor informed the court she did not have a plea offer for the defendant. The defendant is still in juvenile process, and is scheduled for a transfer hearing later this month.

Simms, represented by Tara LeCompte, is scheduled to appear  for his next hearing Sept. 26.
