The Baltimore Police Department is investigating a homicide in the afternoon of Sept. 11.
According to a news release, patrol officers were called to the 2600 block of Frederick Avenue around 12:50 p.m. to investigate an unresponsive person seated inside a vehicle slumped over.
An unidentified female victim suffering from trauma to the left side of the head. The victim was pronounced deceased by medics on the scene.
The victim was transported to the Medical Examiner’s office, where a post-mortem examination determined the cause of death to be an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
